Since 2008, the city of St. Joseph, IL has been the host of an annual 5K Race/Walk event and Kids Fun Run. Year after year the SJO5k has captured the hearts of  area residents and its popularity continues to grow.

There’s nothing better than a leisurely walk or a brisk, competitive run through our flat, fast and beautiful city streets. For those of you trying to get a personal record, this race is the one for you!

This event supports the St. Joseph Middle School and St. Joseph-Ogden High School girls and boys cross country and track teams. The proceeds from the 5k have helped pay for travel expenses and helped with costs incurred during the season.
