Since 2008, the city of Saint Joseph, IL has been the host of an annual 5K Race/Walk and Kids Fun Run. Year after year the SJO5k has captured the hearts of area residents and its popularity continues to grow.

There’s nothing better than a leisurely walk or a brisk, competitive run through our flat, fast and beautiful city streets. For those of you trying to get a personal record, this race is the one for you!

This event supports St. Joseph-Ogden High School, St. Joseph Middle School, and Prairieview Ogden Junior High School girls and boys cross country and track teams. The proceeds from the 5k have helped pay for costs associated with the teams that are not covered by school monies.
